Schoolze, Inc.(Schoolze) operates schoolze.com. It is Schoolze’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.
Like most website operators, Schoolze collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Schoolze’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Schoolze’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Schoolze may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Schoolze also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Schoolze does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

Certain visitors to Schoolze and Schoolze affiliated websites choose to interact with Schoolze in ways that require Schoolze to gather personally-identifying information. For example, we ask visitors who sign up account at schoolze.com to provide an email address, a password and some other information included (but not limited to) name, address, phone number etc. Schoolze collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitors interaction with Schoolze. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
Schoolze may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. Schoolze may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Schoolze does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
Schoolze discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Schoolze's behalf or to provide services available at Schoolze.com or affiliated websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Schoolze may also disclose some aggregated or specific parental site visit information to the school or classroom staff with whom those parents are affiliated, in order to fulfill reporting requirements of a feature (example being newsletter statistics report containing parental visits to newsletter page or direct/group message read receipt for Teachers and school staff). Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Schoolze or Schoolze's affiliated websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Schoolze will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Schoolze discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when Schoolze believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Schoolze, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of an Schoolze website and have supplied your email address, Schoolze may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with whats going on with Schoolze and our products. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Schoolze takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
Children’s Personal Information
Below is some information about Children’s Online Privacy and Protection Act (“COPPA”). COPPA requires that online service providers obtain parental consent, with limited exceptions, before they knowingly collect personally identifiable information online from children who are under 13. We do not allow access to the site to child under 13 and hence do not collect any personally identifiable information from children who are under 13. To service the teachers and the parents in a collaborative fashion, we collect some minimum personally identifiable information about child from the parent themselves, information such as child’s name, date of birth, relation to the parent, profile picture, interests/hobbies and any food allergy. If we learn we have collected personal information from a student under 13 without parents administering the information entry, or if we learn a student under 13 has provided us personal information beyond what we request from him or her, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Email And Mobile Communications:
To continue to use Services provided by Schoolze, we need to collect your email address and phone number. Schoolze may send you messages (such as updates from other users and teachers, Notifications, newsletters, and other news) relating to the Services or to respond to communications from you. By maintaining a Schoolze account and/or not opting out of the receipt of information from Schoolze, you acknowledge and agree that you may receive e-mail or text messages on your phone or mobile communications device from Schoolze and/or its Agents (as defined below). The receipt of such messages may cause you to incur usage charges or other fees or costs in accordance with your wireless or data service plan. Any and all such charges, fees, or costs are your sole responsibility. You should consult with your wireless carrier to determine what rates, charges, fees, or costs may apply. If you wish to change frequency of communication you receive from Schoolze users or from Schoolze admins, you can visit your profile settings on the site and make appropriate adjustments.
